Some Cool Strategies To Help You In Your Game!
When to rush? -These are all variations of the same question, and I have never seen it answered well, am I sure it has been, but I haven't seen it. The main thing in my mind is...rush when you will gain an advantage by doing so...thats the whole point. Many newbies think that you shouldn't rush till you will win by doing so...on that particular rush. That is not at all the case. If you have a slight tank advantage, and you feel comfortable, you should rush. Main thing is to take out all tank forces first. But before you do so, you need to make sure you fight a battle that is on your terms.... where you want it, and when you want it. Staging an attack on their ore harvesters very easily does this. This way if they don't want to come to you they will regret it...badly. So you got them coming to you.... thats one advantage...then you need to let the tanks do their thing and when all when the war is over the next step....depending on how many tanks you have left, is to take out things like pillboxes/sentries. Anything that will aid a future rush will do. The main thing in fighting a battle that isn't going to win the war is to give yourself a bigger advantage next time you come at 'em. Such as clearing out deployed GI's or crippling your opponent. Most people know to go for War-Bar-AFC-then maybe CY. Sometimes I like to go for the Battle lab just because it is so easy to kill, and I like to keep my opponent teched down. Also, if they have a tech building they are probably trying to get out another mirage, so if you eliminate the battle lab they will have to manually order up some grizzlies.
I like rushing with about 7-8 tanks just because of the quickness they deal with miners-buildings-and other tanks, but I never go by how many tanks I have.... its always how many tanks they have. Hotkeying them is a great tool and is something great players always do.... me not being one of them, I have just started doing it, and wish I did this always. So hotkeying flacks for Anti Air helps to keep them from getting destroyed and also is great for your micromanagement. I like to bring dogs into closely matched tank battles, because of their speed in following the tanks. They can be the deciding factor in a close battle....so dont be stingy....(I should listen to my own advice) Dogs have won me games so try it if you havent already.
Avoiding pillboxes/deployed GI's is crucial. This is how the Ally stops the rush.....and this is why you need to bring them to you. So go for the miners, or go for an unguarded building just to bait them. Don't be afraid to take the long route, or sneak around back, just make sure you aren't leaving your self vulnerable.

If your using superweapons and you are allied and your enemy is soviet, then theres trouble.Soviet has a nuke silo.Build a chronosphere guy that erases buildings.Just before the nuke hits, hold ctrl and hit a building or anything you dont want hurt. Then after the explosion, the person, thing,or building will be safe.Note that if you keep the chronosphere guy hitting the building, thing,or person too long, it will get erased ------------------------------------------------------
This strategy is called the rush and flank strategy. What you do is line up your tanks in front of a mass amount of infantry. You then line up some Navy SEALs on the flank of your group. Attack the base by sending in tanks, and calling in air strikes in to take out defenses. Then mop up anything else you don't want using infantry. Use the Navy SEALs to help with this. After that fly in engineers to capture anything you want. ------------------------------------------------------ Boa strategy-send apocs and V3s in ore fields, kill their miners continually, then overwhelm the AA defenses with V3s and destroy them, then the ground defenses, then mop up whats left with my apocs. Basic, and effective, though non-realistic and annoying in multiplayer. ------------------------------------------------------ Attack with Infantory and tanks. Put ur infantory ahead and tanks on their back. Attack on Ore Miner to make the computer attach u with their tanks. Engage tanks with infantory and attack enemy tanks with ur tanks one by one. ------------------------------------------------------ My favorite strategy- Make squadron of Harriers, selectively hit strategically important enemy targets (ore refinery, power plants, construction yard, war factory, naval yard etc) once my armor is ready (a good balanced mixture of prism tanks, tank destroyers, and mirage tanks) send them in on enemy forces first, then work on the structures. ------------------------------------------------------
